Case Study: Mise-en-scene- Activity #2

This assignment, was very fun because we were able to explore what it means to create a video for an assignment. In this second case study which is very similar to the first one instead of analyzing shots from other movies, we were assigned with analyzing shots from our very own movie.

1. Western, this area was used because we were able to show the perspectives of the people acting out the scene

2. Gangster, this picture at the top of the stairwell is a more modern picture style used by anybody

3. Romantic comedy, peter at the top of the stairwell looking down at me brings a feeling of finally seeing someone you really wanted to see

4. Horror, Peter at the end of the hallway represents the horror of being at the end of the path

5. Sitcom, this scene gave a feeling of lightheartedness because of every showing a happy emotion and with a colorful background
